Polarised. A dark lens only lowers overall brightness, so glare comes through just as strong, only dimmer. A polarised filter removes the reflected light bouncing off water, bitumen and the bonnet in front of you and leaves the rest. That is why a good pair feels like turning the volume down rather than turning the lights off.
Yes, and it is the situation polarised lenses are best at. One thing worth knowing: some LCD dashboard and phone screens dim or shift colour when viewed through any polarised lens, on any brand. Tilting your head slightly clears it.
They differ by fit, not by activity. Every frame uses the same HL3 lens.
The glasses and a cleaning cloth. Skipper also ships with its retainer cord.
They are adult frames and are not sized or tested for children.
Thirty days, worn or unworn. If the pair you picked is not right, we will make it right.

Australia: $9.95 flat, or free on orders over $75. Every postcode, including regional and remote.
New Zealand: free on every order, rural addresses included.
Orders are dispatched from our fulfilment partner and shipped duty paid, so there is nothing to pay on arrival. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.

Right now we ship to Australia and New Zealand.
Thirty days from delivery to change your mind. Worn or unworn. Wear them on the water, in the ute, all weekend. If they are not right, we will make it right.
Return postage is generally the customer's. If the fault is ours, damaged on arrival, faulty, or the wrong item sent, it is on us and we resend free of charge. You will never be out of pocket for our mistake.
Email info@hardlighteyewear.com with your order number and what is wrong. We reply with the return address and instructions. Please wait to hear from us before sending anything back, or we may not be able to match the parcel to your order.
Once your return arrives and has been checked we refund to the original payment method. Banks usually take a further three to five business days to show it.
Send a photo with your order number. We resend free of charge and you do not need to return the damaged pair.
Faults yes, change of mind no. A Mystery Pair is final sale because the price only works as clearance. If it arrives damaged or faulty we replace it like anything else.
No. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss. These rights apply in addition to anything offered above.
One rule: every pair after the first is half price. Two pairs is $88.50, three is $117.99, and it keeps going from there. Colours do not have to match, it applies on its own at checkout, and there is no code.
One random pair from the archive at a clearance price. Same polarised lens, same lens quality, you simply do not choose the colour. Final sale, so it is the one thing on the site that is not covered for change of mind.
